Anyone ever heard a pair of these?

I have heard several sets of Pioneer coaxials. Second rate speakers at best. They didn't compete with Altec, you could buy 4 sets for the price of Altecs.

if they were half as good as they looked, they'd sound twice as good as they do......................... has been my experience with every Pioneer speaker i've ever heard. I haven't heard them all, my understanding is that some of the Exclusive stuff post Locanthi/TAD era is very good, and it should be given the entry fees.
